The deadline for submitting applications to POLREC's Open Call for Training has been extended until October 31.
This initiative aims to offer financial support to carry out training courses or webinars to SMEs that aim to reduce their plastic waste with recycling solutions.
This open call is a very valuable opportunity for both SMEs and training service providers. SMEs will benefit from high-quality training that can improve their operations and sustainability practices, while service providers will receive financial contributions to deliver the training.
This call covers financial aid (aid up to €1,460) for training sessions focused on the following subtopics:
Explore the latest advances in recycling technologies, including mechanical, chemical and thermal recycling methods. Learn about the benefits and challenges associated with each technology and learn how to implement them effectively in your operations.
Learn about integrating digital technologies into your recycling processes. Learn about digital tracking systems, automation and data management to improve efficiency and traceability in your recycling operations.
Develop the technical expertise necessary for effective polymer recycling. This includes specialist training for technicians, engineers and other key staff involved in the recycling process, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to use advanced recycling technologies.
The courses must start on the date of submission of the application and must end before May 16, 2025. The format, language and duration of the trainings are free. Accepted training can be online, face-to-face or hybrid.
SMBs have the flexibility to choose their own training service provider to best meet their specific needs. As a training service provider, we encourage you to register using this form to appear on our list of suggested training service providers.
Applications can be submitted until 31 October 2024 at 18:00 CET via this link.
